Special Interview: Local Guitarist Aytahn Benavi | KMFA 89.5 | Austin's Classical Music Radio Station

Aytahn Benavi is a 15-year-old guitarist from Austin who will appear on the September 23 episode of From the Top, the long-running NPR radio program featuring America’s best young classical musicians. Since this edition of the show falls just after the conclusion of the Jewish new year celebration, Rosh Hashannah, it celebrates the musical contributions of Jewish culture.

Aytahn is a tenth grader who currently attends the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy here in Austin. He joined Chris Johnson on Rideshare this week to talk about his experience with taping the From the Top show in Atlanta.
