MARY MOODY NORTHEN THEATRE PRESENTS
MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
NOVEMBER 6 - 16 | MARY MOODY NORTHEN THEATRE
Love, lies, and laughter collide in this swinging 1960s reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING! After years of war, an Italian town bursts back to life with romance, rivalry, and music. Witty sparring partners Beatrice and Benedick swear they’ll never fall in love until a mischievous plot turns the game on its head. Directed by Emmy Award–winner Robert Tolaro, this fashion-forward romp proves that in matters of the heart, nothing is ever simple.
Directed by Robert Tolaro, the cast features guest artists Patrick Lawlor as Leonato and Shelia Gordon as Antonia alongside students from the St. Edward’s Department of Performing Arts. The creative team includes Donna Coughlin (Scenic Design), Jackson Wood (Lighting Design), Louie Espinoza (Sound Design), Avalon McPhail (Costume Design), Anna Fugate-Downs (Hair and Makeup Design), Kiryat Jearim Castillo (Props Design) and Lisa Goering (Production Stage Manager).
