Puppet Bucket is an award-nominated improvised puppetry troupe bringing bold, story-driven theatre to life, one puppet at a time. Rumored to have been a household name in the 1990s (and now proudly making our comeback), we combine old-fashioned puppet charm with quick witted, narrative improv. We were honored with a B. Iden Payne Award nomination in 2025 and an Austin Chronicle Best of Arts and Entertainment 2026 nomination, both celebrating our distinct voice in Austin’s theatre scene.
