Back in October, 340 pianists applied for the 2025 Cliburn International Piano Competition.

Only 30 were granted entry.  

They will be coming from 17 countries when the competition begins on May 21^st in Fort Worth. All of them are hoping to win Gold, but there’s the silver and bronze medals, special awards and cash prizes of over half a million dollars. 

This is also the first competition for the recently established Cliburn Agency that the winners can claim for career management packages worth a total of over $2 million.

The CLIBURN International Piano Competition is widely considered one of the most prestigious contests in classical music.
