A orchestral event is taking place this week at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC that seeks to rip the tuxedo off the perception of classical music. It's called the SHIFT Festival.

Orchestras taking part in the event are: 

The Knights from Brooklyn, New York.  The Atlanta Symphony and Chorus , the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and the North Carolina Symphony
