Joseph Dennis, a tenor from McKinney, Texas was one of the five winners of this year's Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. 

 Joseph Dennis was urged to sing opera by his twin brother and started singing at Stephen F. Austin State University before stop in Oklahoma, Santa Fe, and New York.  He has a busy summer performing but will stop long enough to get married in Austin.
