“Build it and they will come” is a line from the popular 1989 movie Field of Dreams. It might also refer to violinist and UT Doctoral candidate Sean Riley who wanted to play a piece composed by John Adams but didn't have the correct instrument to play it.  Riley worked with two others and built the instrument needed to play Adams’ The Dharma at Big Sur.
