A new type of production of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly is currently on stage at Opera In The Heights in Houston. This one is different because Josh Shaw, Artistic and Executive Director of the Pacific Opera Project in Los Angeles, thought it odd that the characters could communicate since they don't speak the same language.
