For the past two years the innovative and talented string quartet Invoke has been the Young Professional String Quartet in Residence at the Butler School of Music. Before it was time for them to move on to greater things, the members of the quartet wanted to play once more for a select audience at KMFA’s Studio 2000. Carla McElhaney of KMFA’s Night Music hosts a visit with the group, with a talk about their music and their plans for the future as well as getting some insight into the pieces they perform.
This broadcast is part of KMFA's Listen Local series. This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department, the Still Water Foundation, and Tito's Handmade Vodka.
